On the west coast, Fall and Winter mean rain, and lots of it. The last
three days has given us about 8.6 com (3 3/8 inches) of rain. Most of us go,
“Yuck!” But there are two diehard groups that wait for it. The surfers
know that the storms are bringing in the swell and the white water paddlers
know that the rivers are filling up. Things should be looking up for both
groups right now!

West Coast Trail Beach Cleanup
Although we try to pick up garbage on the trail and beaches along the West Coast Trail on most of our trips, we had a highly motivated group on our August 16, 2011 tour. Our group piked up more than two full, large garbage bags of rubbish between Walbran and Carmannah Creek. We were able to ship it out, off the trail from there.
We are very proud that Coastal Bliss Adventures helps to maintain the trail and keep is clean and enjoyable for everyone.
